Kendang & my life

Shiva himself did not invent it. He did invent ta'n'd'ava however. The inner motivation of ta'n'd'ava is the following: "Destruction is inevitable, but I will continue to fight against destruction through struggle." So there is a skull in one hand and a dagger in the other. The skull represents destruction, and the dagger represents fight. The underlying feeling is "I will not surrender to destruction or death. I will continue the struggle with this dagger."

Miki & Aya (Melia Bali Yoga Class )

That day, October 23' 07 when the yoga class held only 2 people came, and late 5 minutes. First time I saw them, they just smille. And when I asked them,' Good morning, can you speak english?' they say little. So our yoga become silent. But later after do yoga class, we did relaxation. Something funny was happened. With soft Balinesse music and with my nice sound (he..he..) I made them sleep. And then after relaxation, I've confuse, what to do? And then I touched their finger. That was my first finger touched for Them. I was think yoga made them enjoy and feel nice experience in Bali (They always smile and fun). For Miki & Aya, do your yoga at home, Ok? Nice to meet you, keep in touch...

Meditasi Alam

Meditasi adalah nafas-nya yoga. Semenjak teknik yoga diperkenalkan sekitar 7000 tahun yang lalu, tepatnya di India yoga sudah merupakan suatu sistem yang lengkap, termasuk juga meditasi. Meditasi yang benar haruslah dipelajari melalui seorang Guru. Saat terbaik untuk mulai belajar meditasi yaitu ketika seseorang menginjak dewasa, ketika kelenjar gonad mulai aktif. Banyak sekali karya seni dan penemuan-penemuan dibidang ilmu pengetahuan modern justru didapat ketika pikiran sangat tenang dan terkonsentrasi. Keadaan ini juga bisa dicapai ketika badan, pikiran dan jiwa ada dalam keselarasan dan keseimbangan. Pikiran yang meditatif memiliki ketajaman seperti pisau bermata intan. Anda bisa mengarahkan sebentuk kekuatan yang diwariskan Tuhan kepada kita dengan bijaksana kalau pikiran anda meditatif, bebas dan mulia.

Disinilah kegiatan yoga rutin diadakan dari senin sampai jumat. Kadang kalau ada privat bisa dilakukan di garden, di Yhi Spa maupun Di Villa-nya melia, asyik kan? atau kalau mau bernuansa lebih eksotis, menghadap ke pantai juga ok, tapi siap-siap aja masuk angin he...he...

Profile: Ovie

Kali pertama saya bertemu ovie yaitu saat saya mengisi kelas yoga di Karuna Graha Yoga Center. Kala itu Ovie bersama satu orang temannya (maaf saya lupa nama temannya) ikut kelas saya. Segera saya tahu kalau Ovie memang salah satu pelaku yoga yang serius. Terlihat dari tingkah lakunya yang ramah dan sopan. Ini merupakan salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan yoga. Sebuah penghargaan juga saya berikan saat tahu bahwa Ovie banyak menguasai postur-postur yoga yang cukup sulit. Lalu timbul ide saya untuk membuat kontak profesional yang lebih jauh dengannya. Kelenturan badannya juga ok, salut deh. Selain menekuni yoga, Ovie juga sangat senang berolah raga, terutama bersepeda dan dance. Semoga mbak Ovie bisa tetap semangat. Thanks ya foto-fotonya. Next time kita buat yang lebih ok lagi.
